Delores Kemp, daughter of James C. Robinson and Viola Brown, was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 4, 1958. She departed this life on August 3, 2017, at Heartland Hospice House in Hockessin, Delaware.
Delores received her early education in the New York public school system. She was a very outgoing, friendly person with a beautiful smile. She loved God and got along with everyone she met. She enjoyed dancing.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, children, Sikinia Kemp, Nakisha Kemp, Shaahid Harrison, Dasheen Kemp, Lateek Jacob Kemp, and Odessa Kemp, 15 grandchildren, Imaune, Terrell, Tiasia, Kayla, Jaeyla, Ayanna, Rakeem, Abby, Persia, Zaequan, Aeyla,, Zaniyah, Jahnae, Ava, and Jacob; 3 sisters, Maria Smalls, Wanda Robinson, and Meshell Kemp; 3 brothers, Michael Kemp, James Kemp, and Roland Kemp (Elizabeth); 9 nieces, 6 nephews, and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Lateek Otis Kemp.
Memorial Service will be at 1 pm on Saturday, August 12th at Sampson Funeral Service, 2601 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11208.
