Dorell L. Baxter, son of Percy Ingram and Vanessa Baxter, was born April 18, 1980, in Wilmington, Delaware. He departed this life on Sunday, October 1, 2017, in Tampa, Florida.
Dorell graduated from William Penn High School in 1998. Upon graduating from high school, he relocated to Orlando, Florida and worked at McKesson Corporation. Dorell stayed in Orlando for several years before transferring to the McKesson Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dorell owned his own custom T-shirt business. He loved doing puzzles and enjoyed writing music and poetry. He enjoyed playing pool, watching basketball & football, and was an avid race car driver fan. He also liked to ride motorcycles and practice boxing.
Dorell was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Christine Baxter and paternal grandparents, John and Maggie Ingram.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Vanessa Baxter; father and step-mother, Percy and Rhoda Ingram; brother, Dante Baxter; step-brother, Andree' Taylor; nephew, Vance Taylor, Jr.; devoted friend, Nicole Clark; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His Memorial Service will be 12 Noon, Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19802, where friends may visit with the family from 11 am - 12 Noon. Dorell was interred in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington, Delaware.
