Roslayn Elaine Mosley, daughter of the Mrs. Rosa L. (Dawkins) Mosley and the late David L. Mosley, transitioned to her heavenly home on Mon., September 18, 2017, succumbing her illness, after a valiant fight.

Rosalyn, affectionately known as "Ros" was born May 05, 1954, in Yokohama, Japan. She attended grade school in Alabama as well as Germany. She later attended Aberdeen Vocational Studies Program, with a concentration in food service. Rosalyn would ultimately be elevated to the position of Food Service Manager.

She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and she was a master at word puzzles. With such a creative nature, you would often find Rosalyn immersed in creating beautiful arts and crafts. Crocheting, however, was her all-time greatest passion.

Rosalyn was a former member of Community Baptist Church, Joppa, MD and St. John First Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Myers, FL. She most recently attended The Resurrection Center in Middletown, DE.

Rosalyn is preceded in death by her father, David L. Mosley of Fort Myers, FL; paternal grandparents, Albert Mosley, Sr., and Estell Hill Woodbury of Fort Myers, FL; maternal grandparents, Byrl Edward "Buddy" Dawkins and Essie Mae (Thomas) Dawkin, also of Fort Myers, FL.

Rosalyn shared with her mother and sister while at her bedside, "I'm ready for whatever God decides. "I'll just be happy to join Daddy and Grandmother in heaven."

Those who remain to cherish Rosalyn's memory are: her mother, Rosa L. (Dawkins) Mosley of Fort Myers, FL; two brothers, Bruce E. Mosley of San Ramon, CA. and Victor C. Mosley (Karen), of Odenton, MD; one sister, Dr. Zelma A. Mosley-Evans (Richard) of Middletown, DE; two nieces, Angelique J. and Jessica E. Mosley, and one great nephew, Tyrique G. Forrester, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral 7PM, Thurs., September 27th at Congo Funeral Home, 201 N. Gray Ave., Wilm, DE 19805; viewing 6PM-7PM. Burial, Private.
