On the morning of May 25, 2019 at the Wilmington Hospital, the Lord called our dad and friend Lynwood Joseph Simmons home to his resting place.

Joe was also baptized and was a strong believer of God. Joe also loved to play cards and beating people while playing pool. He also had a heart of gold, where he was always looking out for the tenants in his building by going to play their lottery numbers, going to the grocery store, and making sure that they received their meals in the box.

While continuing his life, Lynwood Joseph Simmons was married to Pearl Simmons and Rose Ann Garrett who preceded him death. He also had a sister Cynthia Huebanks-Castle whom he loved to stand up for and protect that also preceded him in death.
