Wille "Jackie" Edward Huewitt, beloved son of the late Cattie Lee Moore Huewitt and Rev. Willie Izell Huewitt was born on May 11, 1942 in Barney Georgia. He took flight to fly high on June 20, 2018. He received his early education from Brooks County School system. He later moved to Trenton and Asbury Park, New Jersey in the late 60's. He then married Elizabeth Risby and from this union his oldest son Marc Huewitt was born on February 2, 1970. He became a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church in 1973 under Pastor Tyree Morgan. He worked for GM RAIL and later went to work for Anchor Motor Freight GMC car carrier for over fifteen years in the early 70's. He later moved from New Jersey to Delaware and got remarried, he married the love of his life Cynthia Ann Jones on August 13, 1977; and from this union his baby girl Isedra Huewitt was born on April 10, 1981. At this time he was a member of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church under the late Pastor Ivan Collins, where he to joined the deacon board. He later got adopted by four Big Families while serving at the Rock. He became a family member of the Black, Cummings, Moore and Aiken family. Willie loved to drive and travel the world so he became a coach bus driver for Aladdin Bus Co. until he retired in the mid 2000's once he had a triple bypass surgery. He would then go back home to his birth city and state until God called him home in Quitman, GA. You could always find Willie in church singing, which was his first love. He traveled and sung with various groups in the Tri-State area. His second love was bowling every Saturday when he was home, you could catch him in a bowling alley then off to rehearsal to practice his favorite songs. He also loved going fishing, cooking, spending family time, going to his family reunion every year and being in church with his family, friends and co-workers. He will definitely be missed by all he came in contact with. Willie was preceded in death by his beloved parents Rev. Willie I. Huewitt and Cattie Lee Moore Huewitt and seven sibling. Willie leaves to cherish his memory : his sons Marc (Denise) Huewitt of Atlanta, GA, Sean Bradforth of Dalzell, SC & his daughter Isedra Huewitt of Wilmington, DE. Two loving brothers, Rev. Richard Huewitt of Quitman, GA, John (Arabell) Huewitt of Tallahassee, FL. Three loving sisters, Irene Redding of Quitman, GA, Evangelist Cora (Bishop Joseph) Jenette of White Plains, NY and Ethel (Richard) Jones of Quitman, GA. One devoted friend Ethel Hall, 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Kayla, Marquis, Jahsir, Jurnie, Janai, Byron, Bryce, Braeden, and Bria; one great grandchild, Jayden; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
