He retired from General Motors at the age of 62.
Edward gave his life to Christ and saw the vision and purpose for this life with Christ. He spent time talking with the Lord and the Lord spent time talking with him. He was a man who was straight-forward and God knew that. God accepted him just as he was.
He was a man that traveled anywhere his car would take him. He also traveled to Las Vegas and Texas for his job. Anywhere you saw, him he had that toothpick in his mouth.
Although Edward was dealing with his illness, he was an independent man. He was ever so adamant about how he could handle his own business. He never complained about pain or anything. He was strong and always determined even until he allowed God to take him home.
