Tabitha Michelle Bailey, daughter of Abigail Fay Bailey & Henry Lee Fleming, was born January 11, 1967, in Accomack, Virginia. She departed this life and went to be with the Lord, Sunday May 17, 2020, in the care of Christiana Hospital.
Tabitha received her early education in the public schools of Accomack County, Virginia. She graduated class of 1986 from Wilmington High School and recently attended 2019 all alumni RED DEVILS reunion. During her time in high school, Tabitha was known to be a social butterfly, and loved to play basketball. She began working in the banking industry, and had a career with Chase bank up until her illness.
Tabitha gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on February 26,1984. Her daughter was her everything. She loved her unconditionally and was always there. When her grand babies were born, they completely took over. She called each of them her “Boo Boo” and in turn they named her Boo Boo Tab.
Tabitha battled with health issues for the past 36 years but continued to stay positive and love on her family and friends. She made everyone that she came across proud of her for fighting so hard and overcoming so much.
Tabitha was preceded in death by her son, Kendall Boone, Jr. and her father Henry Lee Fleming. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Abigail Bailey; daughter, Ronniece Bailey; sisters, Frances Fleming and Melinda Fleming; brother, Dewayne Sudler; grandson, Nye’air Bailey-Jackson; granddaughter, Khia Bailey-Jackson; niece, Vanniesha “Nene” Bennett; and her nephew, Aiden Fleming. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family that loved and cherished her as their own.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19802. A public viewing will be held from 9-10:45 AM only. Her interment will be held at Silverbrook Cemetery.
