Faith Lolley, daughter of the late Reverend Alice Whye and Vernon Whye, was born on January 26, 1960. She went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2018. When her work was done here on earth and God called her home, she was surrounded by her family who love her very much.
Faith attended elementary and high school in Wilmington, Delaware then went on to attend Del-Tech. She worked several different jobs throughout her life, but the most important job to her was being a mother. Faith came from a big family of fourteen brothers and sisters, so when she married at an early age, she went on to have seven children of her own who she dedicated her life to.
Faith enjoyed spending time with her family making people laugh with all the stories she would tell. She also enjoyed going to Delaware Park whenever she could. Even in her last days on earth, she was not going to let her illness stand in the way of doing what made her happy. She brought joy to everyone that was around her.
Faith Lolley was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Aaron Whye. She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters Lameesha Whye, Tonya Lolley, Kieyana Harris (Christopher Harris), Tyleesha Goodson (Armondo Goodson), her sons Joseph, Jonathan, and Na’im Lolley (Aurelia Lolley). She also leaves to cherish her memory, her loving grandchildren: Taleah Whye, Da’Quan Lolley, Yuhanna Whye, Princess Johnson, Jyheir Harris, Epiphany Johnson, Brooklyn Melvin, Alexandru Lolley, Jordan Lolley, Janaye Harris, Jaheim Lolley, Marie Alice Lolley, Jaquan Lolley, Omari Carter, and Javion Harris as well as her great grandchildren Da’Quan Lolley Jr., Cameron Whye-Vasquez, and De’Andre Lolley. Faith is also survived by her stepchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, and a host of nephews and nieces.
