Walter Dennis Westerman born January 13, 1931 in Harlem Hospital to Walter Henry Westerman and Marceline Cora Johnson. He departed this life on October 24, 2019, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware. He was one of seven children. To know him in life you would love him.
He was educated in New York school system. He had two wives and two children who went home before him. He was a boy scout in Troop 198. He belonged to AC cub "The Blue Jays." He was a very good ball player.
He was in the U. S. Army between 1952-1958 with an honorable discharge. He came to Pennsylvania in 1952 and loved to work. He was hired by PTC in 1957 better known as SEPTA and worked there for 36 years with many honors. He worked for the Trolley and Bus service for 12 years and Market EL for 24 years. He retired in February 1993 with a very good record.
He loved people young and old. He leaves to mourn: two sisters, Constance Hayward and Rhoda Hill, a host of nieces and nephews and good friends.
