Willis Lee Lindsey, Jr. was born April 9, 2001 in Wilmington, Delaware to Willis L. Lindsey, Sr. and Brandi Lindsey. At age 18 he went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Boo or Love Bug, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was a student at James H. Groves High School. He worked as a lawn care worker for Brandywine Nurseries. Willis enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad, brothers and uncles. His favorite sports team was the Seattle Seahawks.
He was preceded in death by his godmother, Annie Dollard.
Willis Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Willis Sr. and Brandi Lindsey; siblings, Donald Lindsey and Londyn Lindsey; maternal grandparents, Priscilla Waterman (Reese) and Bernard Jones (Angie); paternal grandparents, Donald and Ruth Sessoms; maternal great-grandmother, Rosetta Taylor; paternal great-grandparents, Frances Sessoms and Delores Mitchell; godfather, Jeremy Wilson; special friend, Nyaira Money and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Congo Legacy Center, 501 West 28th Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19802, where there will be a viewing from 7:00 am - 9:45 am.
His burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North Dupont Highway, New Castle, Delaware 19720.
