July 12, 1988 ~ June 13, 2020 (age 31)

Philip Marc McNair, also known as "Phil," son of Phillippa and Samuel McNair, was born July 12, 1988, in the Christiana Hospital, Newark Delaware. Philip gained his heavenly wings on June 13, 2020. He received his early education at Eisenberg Elementary and George Read Middle School. He then went to High School and graduated from William Penn High in New Castle, Delaware in 2007. After high school, he worked at Elwyn Institue and attended the Easter Seals program.

Philip was the best son anyone could ever have. Philip loved his family dearly and was loved dearly in return. He had a special bond and love with his brother, "Sam," nephew, Tahaj, and nieces, Camiah and Marley.

He loved to paint and look at movies with his Dad. One of his favorite hobbies was listening to the "Whispers." He was smart, handsome, and funny. He also loved video games and going to the beach. Above all, he was a devoted Catholic and prayed frequently with his mother. He was greatly loved by all and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the late Robert and Eudell Cooper as well as his paternal grandparents, the late Edward and Nettie McNair.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his mother, Phillippa L. Cooper McNair; his father, Samuel Emmanuel McNair; his brother, Samuel Trebor McNair, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends.
